About us
Innovation in engineering — driven by technology and expertise.
NÄXTE was founded by three civil engineers who recognized the potential to better integrate modern technologies and planning methods into the Swiss construction industry. With complementary skills and a spirit of innovation, we develop practical, integrated solutions to meet the evolving demands of the sector.
Team
Matteo Depoli
Dipl. Bauing. FH / MSc VDC
Graduate of SUPSI, University of Applied Sciences in Ticino, 2016 as a civil engineer, and MSc FHNW in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), 2025. His specialization focuses on modern planning approaches such as the BIM methodology, the VDC framework, and integrated project delivery models like IPD. With a broad background as a generalist civil engineer, including participation in infrastructure projects, he successfully combines traditional engineering methods with advanced digital solutions, such as structural analysis based on BIM models and the use of linked data to support data-driven decision-making. He is currently a research associate at the Institute for Digital Construction (IDIBAU) at FHNW.
Michele Albertini
Dipl. Bauing. ETH / FH
Graduate of EPFL in 2020, specialized in structural analysis, concrete restoration, and advanced Finite Element Methods (FEM). His focus is on stress field analysis, particularly for the assessment and optimization of concrete load-bearing structures under shear forces. With deep expertise in stress field modeling, he develops technical solutions aimed at high durability and structural performance, ensuring that all verifications comply with both Swiss standards (SIA) and international regulations.
Gianluca Bianchi
Dipl. Bauing. ETH / FH
Graduate of EPFL in 2019, he worked as a research assistant on the development of fatigue assessment methods according to the Eurocode and SIA Standard 261, while also working as a civil engineer at AFRY Switzerland AG. Through this dual role, he applied his expertise in fatigue analysis both in research and in the industry on road and railway projects with standard and narrow gauges in Switzerland. By modeling real traffic using algorithms he has developed over the years, his work enables detailed evaluation of fatigue effects and comprehensive traffic analyses. This contributes to extending the service life of structures and supports their more sustainable use in compliance with applicable standards.
